I have been interested in Arts and Crafts as far back as I can remember.

At school I won a few certificates for my paintings and technical drawings. At that age I was very tempted to follow a career in art.

However at the last moment I decided to start work as an apprentice in engineering and then seemed to spend most of my working life in the demanding roles of management. I never lost my creative side but gave it little time due to my busy lifestyle. It was something I started to regret.

At the age of 56, I decided it was time to stop regretting my career choice and start following my dreams. I quit the industry that was sapping my creative energy and now devote my time to developing my creative art and photographic skills.

Because I was now working from home, I decided to adopt an eight year old Staffordshire Terrier called Holly.

It was she who inspired me to turn my hand at Pet Portraits. Since then, my new career and dog's life have improved tremendously.
